Our favoritest of favorite classic cocktails is the Dark & Stormy (pictured above), a tip fiercely popular in British Bermuda and among certain sailing circles we think we might be a part of had we been born in Newport and not South Philly. This simple combo of caramely dark rum (gotta be Goslings), a really ferocious ginger beer and fresh lime is lime summer in a cup, not to mention a particularly powerful aid in chasing the winter blues away. Tonight for our second ever Cocktails & Greens happy hour, we’re doing a riff on the traditional Dark & Stormy we call a Nearly Stormy that involves vanilla soda, Canton ginger liqueur and our juicy La Vigne organic limes. We cast off at 6pm tonight. Get here before the rum barrel runs dry.
